  • There's nothing to report - it's a protective film that indicates that you have a brand new unit. Just remove it :-)

  • I missed the "black layer coming loose" part on the first pictures, but now that you're pointing me to it, it really doesn't look nice.


    It's defeinitely safe to operate it, but you've paid for a new unit and have every right to have one that has a good-looking surface.


    What makes you think it was damaged in shipping? Did the parcel get wet?

    When I thought the protective film was part of the actual unit I assumed damage during transit.

    I have no evidence of shipping damage though. The shipping box looks in good condition.
