Adjusting the picture position first requires you to use an output mode (VGA setting) that matches your monitor. I would go beyond the scope of product support to read the manual to you - please do that first:

Super interesting thread....I never knew there was a older version of the 604n....I can see the old version has more pins than my version.

All versions of the A604n have the same functionality, just implemented with different methods. That "old" version with a D-Ram chip and a single TTL is also the "current" version, as I decided to produce that again in 2018 as I cam e across a good stock of D-Ram chips.
