But when I disabled the onboard-IDE everything went fine ... the RAM-Test was completed and everything seems okay.

Hello all!
I did the CPLD-Update on my A1200 right now.
When the update was done I left the onboard-IDE active, because I thought "Perhaps I want to use it ... shouldn't make problems ..." ...
But when I started "MBRTest-2" I had a freeze again! Bummer!

I described it here (Post #17): ACA 1234/50 probleme beim starten von CF Card mit 3.2

Then you have to connect the left contact of R12 (the side with the "R12"-labeling) on ACA1234 with pin 39 of the onboard-IDE of the A1200.

DanBeaver Do you want to enable the A1200-HD-LED when ACA1234 is acccessing the CD-card?

I hope that cable arrives soon, so I can start testing on my A1200!

I was in the basement lab, half storage half test gear on the walls reflected in the pictures,

That lab looks f***ing nice!!! Wow!

Does it make sense to try the JP0-method before updating the CPLD?
-
Will the setting of JP0 remove any Kickstart-ROM out of the ACA1234-flash-memory?
-
No problem ... thanks for the quick answer.

Hello Jens !
I don't have such a JTAG-cable. How can I get one? Didn't you mention all buyers of the card would receive a JTAG-cable?
Thanks in advance.

It will be compatible. I'm using that setup and everything's running fine.

I also made a few tests ... For example Monkey Island 2 (WHDLoad) refused to start. After updating to 211117.bin it runs.
