    Does anyone know if this ACA500Plus case from PlexiLaser is able to accommodate the ACA1221lc as well?

    I believe so, yes. That's what the extra bit at the back is for. I know I've seen Youtube videos where people have A1200 accelerators in there just fine.


    I certainly HOPE so, at least, since I just purchased an ACA1234 to go in that very case. :)


    But at the risk of being called out for being horribly wrong, yes, it will.

    Haha, thanks… a little after the fact maybe but same here, got the ACA500Plus, got the case and just ordered an ACA1221lc 😆

    Yes. It works perfectly. I have a ACA122lc connected in to my ACA500 in a ACA500Plus case. No issues. Took me like 5 min to put it all together.

    If anyone could try the ACA1234 in that Plexilaser case, we'd have a result for the ACA1240/1260 as well, as that is exactly the same size, down to a tenth of a millimeter.

    The cover is off at the moment so I can install my X-Surf 500, but this is my shiny new ACA1234 in my ACA500plus Plexilaser case. It fits perfectly.

    It can be open if required, but it fit perfectly with the rear plate on. That being said, I've not put a Compact Flash card in it yet; I don't know if that will extend beyond the ACA1234.

    Here is my partially assembled Plexi ACA Case + ACA500Plus + ACA1221lc.



    But please note...     with the ACA1221lc, there is no way to fix the 1221 to the case, as none of the holes align (I marked where the hole is on the case) so I have a piece of styrofoam holding up the 1221. So far so good :)
