Indivision AGA MK2, black screen after config tool, can't reflash, "Illegal flash version"

    I tried to flash my Indivision AGA MK2 using the Flash tool v1.6 with the 2.6 cores to try and use 1280x1024 60hz resolutions on my TFT monitor which expect that resolution and rate. Somehow it outputs nothing on DVI now. I connected my old 1084s, deleted the screenmode prefs, and tried to "reflash all" but the Flash tools says "Illegal flash version".


    Please help!

    I had the A1200 disconnected from power all night, plugged it in, started the config tool which showed no error, tried reflashing and... it worked!!!! Weird.

    Sounds like a bad contact - please re-seat the unit on the Lisa socket. Also, avoid using any non-standard accelerators, they often block access to the MK2 flash.
