The keyboard keys will change the settings, but ultimately, they will apply to the DisMo button.
Yeah I assumed I was stupid and it was something as simple as that. I did actually try that button a few times, but I am pretty sure my timing was off.
All works great now 
Timing is really a matter of practise, which is the reason why in the menu, the Dismo button will not do anything, but display the time you're pressed it directly after releasing the button. Pressing it a few times while you're in the menu will give you a feeling of the timing.
