  • The problem with this is: there is surely another group of people who like the autofire and want to keep it. And since one thing we dont want to do during developing the chameleon is removing features that once worked, just replacing it is not an option.

Can it be solved with a "true/false" setting in a configfile and that it defaults to autofire, but can be UP as well if set to e.g. false in the configfile ? Is there such a file already which can be used to hold these things ? I am ust throwing out ideas here :)

  • there is no such config file, and the same reasons for why we wont add it apply: we will need a new bit in the config registers, and we'd have to add considerably much new code to the menu system. its one of those things that we might consider once we fixed all (or most) bugs - but not now.

Hi Tobias. Is the Y/N on +/- added to the new i-core ?

  • The same applies as said above :) Peter is currently allocated to Indivision MK3, and when we continue with Chameleon (hopefully soon) then bugfixing is what we will do.

  • Alastair provided a nice "trick"... "B for UP" is now implemented as follows: Hold B and switch the Mouse/Joy slider to opposite Position to toggle between "B is autofire" and "B is UP"
