Hi Jens, thanks for that info, I am thinking of the ACA1233n40, would I benefit from the mmu & also would this need any extra power or cooling, I have my ACA500plus with xsurf500 in a plexi case , cheers

Depends how much you want to spend & how much ram you are looking for.
The cheapest & easiest is probably a 512k trapdoor board, but you could give your A500+ a lot more options in one go with the ACA500plus, you will get 8mb of ram, an acellerator up to 42mhz, 3 built in licenced roms, WB3.1, 2 CF card slots, boot drive selector & more. Its not internal but its the best bit of kit I have bought for my A500 👍😁

I have an A500 with an ACA500plus that has 8mb ram & an Ace2 2mb Agnus
As the Ace2 dissables trapdoor ram, is it possible to add anymore ram to my system ?

thanks for the reply, my setup was working fine through my old tv's vga input, so at first I didn't change anything when connecting to the new tv but got the on off situation. It works fine through scart, so have been trying the different pre modes from the setup software, not sure if vsync was on but will check later when home from work. Cheers for the suggestion 👍

Hi, i have had my A500 with indivision ecsv2 connected to a very old tv via the vga port working with no problems
I have just bought a new tv with a vga port but the display keeps flicking on & off, it will show my amiga screen, then go off saying no signal.
I can connect the amiga by scart & it displays fine, but the vga input keeps flashing on & off.
I have tried various modes in the indivision setup tool to no avail
My setup is :
A500
Indivision escv2
Ace2 agnus
Aca500plus
Any sugestions how to get the picture to stay on via vga most appreciated
