Hello !
This is mostly a question directly to Jens !
Could you possibly stock the Plexilaser ACA500+ case in the store as a reseller as an addon for ACA500+ ?
It would make it easier for me to order it home, as you have VoEC and mr Michael Schöns store does not
I have this case for my current ACA500+ and its pretty good,
but nowadays I tend to get stuff delivered home and avoid going to the postoffice due to covid
-
hehe yeah Keep the Amigas safe
-
Whoa !! I didn't at first realize how close you guys were to the action - but then I looked up Im Simmerath on the map !! :-O
Ok hope stuff normalizes rapidly ! We dont want to lose iComp
(And on another subject; I'm considering a second ACA500+ ! On an average A500 that never had the edge connector in use can I expect issues with connecting it needing to clean the connector or something ? I had no problems on my first ACA500+ ! ).Anyway greets !

Man I'm so frustrated about wasting money for two A-power PSUs when I didn't know they were not recommended. Do you think I atleast can use them on unexpanded A500s ?? Luckily I have 4 iComp PSUs now for my important Amigas.
-
Are iComp OK after the extremeweather in Germany ?
I was looking to order some stuff ! And when is holidays ? -
I was driven to read the (dev) manual !!

Hello ! I was so dumb as to go get a ANSI keyboard for my Chameleon,
I stared myself blind on the great and nowadays non ubiquitious PS2 connector supported, and the small size of the keyboard and did not think of compatibility with ISO keymap.
I've found most of the keys via the FXXS2006 keyboard printout/layout overview for ISO,but this damn keyboard still seems to miss RESTORE and the symbols on the INSERT key (two PETSCII symbols and Pound sign).
Any ideas what to do

Fixed it I just tried the ACAtool and it ran ! Showed me it was the ACA1233n/26 mhz edition !
Now maprom is Enabled ! -
Now we just need good new keyboards, and Commodore 64 retail soon can live again !!!!
-
Hello !
I know I have a 128 MB ACA but I'm a little befuddled about what version it is ! I was finally going to try Maprom with the new 3.2 rom.
Unfortunately I try to search in the store orderhistory but it has only ordernumbers , not what was on the order
Any way you can tell somewhere else ? (Without opening computer again.) Its definitively a 030 card, maybe ACA1233 or 1233n (I had hoped it was 1233n because then I could use the GUI ACAtool.)
I THINK it was 26 mhz but not sure. (I also have the very first that came out the 1230/28, that was once back for repair. That one only supports the CLI maprom ?)
Anyway thanks for everything. And hope the C64 PSU comes out sometime soon ! -
Brilliant ! Just downloaded - will give it a try on my TCv1 equipped C64 !

Screen dragging on the Chameleon / Mist MiniMig FPGA cores are not possible I guess ? (AM. Robinson added experimental RTG a while ago )
-
Well I can happily announce I managed to flash the MM-AGA core with the TC64-v1 in cartridge mode -
I did as suggested - connect data cable to TC64 - turn on C64, connect cable to laptop - launch ./Chaco -> flash core !
And I tested the button with the hwtest sadly report that it is malfunctioning - but If I wiggle it a little while pushing it responds !
So I guess I'll stick with freezing via the remote mainly, and if I really need to I'll wigglepush the middle button !
Anyway it was surreal to run MiniMig "on" C64 -
Damn wonder why it doesnt work as expected anymore Can I test the button with the core 0 hardware test ?
-
Great ! I might try that bending ! But now I know I can flash MM-AGA with chaco from laptop, when powered from C64 !
- and yeah I decided to go to cartridge mode due to the sometime loom caused resets !
( Another thing: I have very big problems getting the middle freeze button to work these days on my V1 ! Are that a known wear and tear situation ? I tried the remote control and it freezes correctly everytime with that. So must be that the middle button has gotten wonky.Other two buttons works, for now atleast
And I can use the remote to freeze with. Luckily I have two remotes too ) -
Hello !
I've used my two Chameleons in standalone mode until recently but now that I had some unstable operation of the cable loom I wanted to try my V1 in Cartridge mode !
I just wonder if I can still flash my MiniMig-AGA cores on this with the data-USB cable as usual or If I have to disconnect it from the C64 every time ? Thats not ideal as it sits hard in the slot. :-/ I was planning to use a laptop sitting besides the C64 for the purpose of flashing. I've already tried once to update the C64 core with the sdcard method and that went great ! Very easy. But I need to flash a newer MiniMig-AGA core now ! And wondered if I could use the C64 as power for that too ? (But pull the SDcard ?) -

Very cool !! Will try !
