I have groundprongs on kitchen and bathroom circuits but unfortunately not in the retro computer room Though I have plugged my PCs to the kitchen outlet :-O
hrmf commodore should really have foreseen the 40ies crisis of these products I had expected them to work into their ninties !
(EDIT
Btw, how the C128 PSU "broke" is that its "making strange crackling noises", no magic smoke or explosions. after that I didnt dare switch on the C128, and just cut the switch on the powerstrip on the floor.) -
oh no :-/ Is this why my C128 PSU broke a few powercycles after connecting it to the ungrounded wall socket ? :-/ Damn old houses with only two prong sockets (I have the shields inside though - not opened the machine, but without a grounded socket thats no matter ? :-/ )
-
Thanks for the hope ! Will there possibly be a C128 version too ?
-
*Bump* I see some CA-PSU seems nearly available ? Is this a good sign for C64 PSU too ? (I mean was not the primary brick PSU availablity a reason for delays too ?)
-
"Are we there yet" Though with me its the C64 psu

I say in Norwegian at the side of the track "HEIA HEIA HEIA !"

So much for searching ............ A while after I cried my salty tears I found the cable UNDER A C64 ACRYLIC-CLOTH COVERING ONTOP of the C64 in the box WITH the Chameleon ...... I had only seen the video cable and assumed the other was gone. I'm not quite myself these days had toothache for a while those days too .. must have been that clouded my ability
-
Im desperate I have lost my breakout cable in a move and the old one was slightly wonky in the end too with the outer cap - I had used the V1 in a C64 for a while but I really dont want to lose the option of using it standalone
EDIT: I bought the V1 from Vesalia in the very beginning ! -
Hello !
I just wonder a little how the keyboard mapping is ? I was going to try to put stickers on a PC ps2 keyboard for Spectrum (I bought two kits of stickers) but is there a hint sheet somewhere for the special keys layout ? I know on the core page there is some keyboard info but not for all the special keys ?? Cheers and thanks for your continued porting work. -
I've moved a place that might be sour on me if I use old PSUs so this is highly wanted !
-
Ok then I just have to drill a hole in the case then for the button Maybe I should inform Plexilaser that new cases need to be the 2016 design :-O
-
it's easy enough to use cheap vga to hdmi converters with the tc64/tc64v2
Any lag on that ??

Another year another nag Hope it happens soon

Hello!
I recently ordered an ACA500+ (my third) - and I got a 2016 model
Which is a drag because I had a 2018 case ...... So now I have no access to the DISMO button unless I dismount the case and drill a new hole.
I guess I can do that. I discovered this just as I had assembled and mounted the ACA on my A500 :-O Talk about being non observant.
But I just wondered if there is other differences I havent seen yet - I need to update the firmware too its 0.129 Can I go straight to the latest ? 0.141 ?
And do I have to update HRT mon ?Cheers !
-
Ah I figured it could be that, I think MiST has the same.
-
:-/ Pace cores are gone ??
-
Great I'll wait and hope then
-
I have two of those cases ! Im in Norway. One for my first ACA and one for my latest. (Old and new model).

Hello ! I had a thought that maybe it would be possible to batch update the Chameleon from SDCard so one does not have to flash each individual core via Chaco ?
Like with the C64 core only for the other cores too ? A standard set of cores that autoflashed from boot of SDcard like the C64 core updater can do ?
You could have various packages that just flashed one core after the other so to have a standard core set flashed without further effort ?
Or is the procedure the C64 core uses completely limited to flash only one core, then reboot the TC ?
I'd say it would be nice to have a standard way to flash C64+hwtest+Amiga+Vic20+C16+spectrum (maybe) + arcade cores in one go ?
Just an idea
