Thanks again Alastair :) Writing issues seem to be solved with newest version. I copied some text documents between partitions, deleted some files, and those worked well.

Looks like I have problems with hard disk -support. If I delete something inside HD-image (3 Gb file, 6 x 512 Mb partitions), that file comes back after reboot. Tried same image with Hatari-emulator and there copying and deleting works. Has anybody else had such problems?

Great work, Alastair! Just tested second version a bit with TC64v1 standalone. Hard drive support is good addition and Logitech-mouse works too :)

If the countdown's stopping, then the mouse isn't even allowing the host to talk. That suggests that my attempted initialisation is crashing the mouse!

I've reworked the init routine completely, and fixed at least one mistake in the process, so I'm hopeful that this version will behave somewhat better. If not, could you repeat the Ctrl-Esc test, please?

Good work, Alastair, with this mouse3-core Logitech-mouse responds and works normally :)

Do you have a Micromys adapter to try this mouse with? I only remember one detail about Logitech, and that was the transfer speed: It was a good 30% faster than most other PS2 devices I've seen before (roughly 19kHz compared to 14kHz that I've seen on most other mice), but this should not cause any trouble for an FPGA implementation, which will only top out at speeds that are several orders of magnitude above that.

Yes, I tried same Logitech-mouse with Micromys V3 and Micromys V4 and works well with towered Amiga 1200.

Thanks, that's really useful. If you're not seeing any numbers (other than the countdown) before the "TTT" appears on screen, then the mouse isn't responding to the reset command - so Jens's first hint about the communication-inhibit time is probably the key.

Indeed, there was no other numbers than countdown. On second attempt it stopped to countdown 6 and TTT appeared.

Just tested and Logitech PS/2 mouse didn't respond. OSD counted from 9 Mouse Debug: to 4 Mouse Debug and probably then froze, since there's not much happening in the last 30 minutes :) When it counted to 4 and froze there appeared letters TTT to second row of OSC-screen.

Alastair: Unfortunately didn't solve problem, still doesn't work with Logitech PS/2 optical mouse. Then I tried with older HP PS/2 optical scroll mouse, and that works at least with newest core. HP-mouse works with Minimig too, and most probably with C64-core. I'm a bit loss now, what is different with Logitech-mouse, why it isn't responding with ST-cores.

    Patrick: Thanks for confirming :)

Alastair: That's good, and core is already in very good shape. Have been able to play a bunch of ST-games already :)

There is a few programs with which it is possible to convert MSA to ST-files. I converted whole automation-collection with MSA Converter v2.1 (by Zorg). Probably there is no way to convert from STX to ST, because STX has copyprotection infos etc.

Patrick: Just curious, that does mouse work in your setup with ST-core? You seem to use TC64v1 standalone. I do too and mouse doesn't respond in my setup. It works with other c64&minimig, but not with ST.

Thanks Alastair, have been looking forward this core :) First impressions: Mouse doesn't seem to work with this core (Turbo Chameleon V1 in standalone mode). Keyboard shortcuts work, at least alt + cursor keys to move mouse pointer.

Hi Alastair and thanks for another core :-) I have tried running this with Standalone TC V1, but is it more picky with SD-cards than earlier cores? It didn't run autoboot.md and if I choose "Load *.bingenmd", there is just blank page and I can only choose <Back . I'm using same card, which works with for example SMS,NES,Vectrex-cores.

    Cheers,
