Order placed, lets see how it goes

The article name is "ACE2b" - but you might as well put "computer part" in there, I believe it does not matter.
Excellent thank you

I can't tell - the goal is to have a PCB that has solder-spots on the side, but I don't yet know if this is possible. If it works out, you remove the three transistors and place a circuit board on there that has galvanized side-contacts, so you only need to drop a blob of solder on about ten spots. Removal of the three transistors will likely be the most difficult task.
Excellent, thank you

Hi Jens
Do you have a feel for when the patch board would be available.
I ask because I want to buy the Ace2b but will need to pay for proxy shipping as I'm in the UK, was looking to try and combine the parcels
Also I'm ok with soldering and can do larger smd components, but the Indivision has really small and close together pins on some of the chips, what would be required to do the upgrade
Many thanks

Im willing to pay money for patch board, I have an ECS V2 but am currently using my scan plus ecs which produces better quality ocs output with no ghosting (but looks terrible in ecs modes)
I understand there would be a cost to you for development, certification and manufacture, it would only be fair you get paid for that.

Thanks for the suggestion, I looked into it and there are options (but not cheap). I'll wait till I need 2 items to ship, or hopefully a resolution with the registration process.

Any updates on shipping to the UK
I want to buy hardware from my favourite Amiga Hardware RetailerMany thanks
-
No customs issues, arrived very fast after you posted it
I've had a lot of fun playing with it. Being able to use IBrowse on my childhood computer is amazing.
Looking forward to the 1260 accelerators in the future, I'll be watching your news feed closely
Once again many thanks

Hi Jens
Just wanted to say the card arrived today and I've been playing with it for many hours (I'm very happy)
Many thanks for all your help
-
I have same issue, fingers crossed for CE approval
-
Any update on when the card can get posted back?
-
The card has already been repaired
Excellent, reassuring to know the card was faulty and not an issue with my hardware. Out of interest what was wrong with it?
Understand about shipping, I'm sure it won't be too long.
-
Hi Jens
When will you/someone be able to take a look at the card (was delivered on the 22)?
If the card cannot be repaired is it possible to have 'store credit' for when a 030 card becomes available, appreciate nothing can be shipped back to me at the moment anyway
Many thanks

No I'll keep the power supply, would rather have it and know I have a good one.
-
Thank you Jens, I will send out this week.
Also, I really appreciate how quickly you respond on this forum and the good customer service you provide

Hi Jens
New PSU arrived today, but still no luck, symptoms as before. I think I'm going to have to send the ACA1221 back as it doesn't work on any of the Amigas I have.
Or is there something else I can try?
-
Thank you Tobias, I'll wait for the new PSU to arrive and then go from there
-
Ok, I've purchased one, is likely to be the cause of the issue?
