  • When I try and flash/update my Buddha card with the disk found at http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/File:Buddha_upgrade_disk.lha I get the following error, "Not Properly Connected Buddha-CPLD-Upgrade Failed Return code 10". This is in a A2000, and using a stock 68000 chip. The board works fine with a standard IDE drive, but I would like to get it working with a CF (and a TF534), but one problem post at a time. :|

  • You are not supposed to make a CPLD upgrade - that is most certainly already installed, as most, if not all controllers in the field have the new CPLD version already.

So - wrong file, wrong download. Here's the full description for the latest Buddha software:

  • Ok, I had also tried the update in the link you provided and received the same error. I am just trying to be able to use a CF card.

For flashing the binary file into a 20-year-anniversary controller, you need the BuddhaFlashTool for this specific controller: File:BFlashTool.lha. Use this tool to write the binary file into the flash of the 20-year anniversary controller with this command line:

    Code
    1. Buddhaflashtool Buddha_ROM_52-101.bin
  • Ok, I had also tried the update in the link you provided and received the same error.

You are certainly not getting the same error as when trying to program the CPLD. If you want to get remote support, you need to work with us, not against us. Please quote the actual error message that the Buddhaflashtool outputs.
