Do I have to do something special to get this to work MK2 ether gives me a black screen with three lines of garbabge or I get a partial chameleon menu and ir freezes. I have tried both working PAL and NTSC VIC chips and different CPUs

There is also a small chance that this is caused by a stuck key (shift lock perhaps?)

Well I found an issue , I am not sure it is "the issue" but it is a problem. My CIAs are in backwards notch facing to the left not the right. Hopefully I didn't damage them

CIAs are pretty delicate - you may be out of luck. However, if it doesn't work right away, you may have some luck by swapping the two chips against each other. The C64 Reloaded MK2 user guid does show the chips with "notch right", and the sockets are all oriented in a way that the lever is at the same end as the notch. I was hoping that this helps in avoiding such mistakes.

well I will find out in a few hours when I get home. Maybe I will get lucky. If not I will just have to source 2 more CIAs .

Well good knew both CIAs survived! Reload board is working along with TC with no issues.
