  • Hi Jens, got one question. Have aca500+ in my A500 rev 6a with 512kb expanssion card. With option 1MB chip enabled I have 1MB chip. Recently I put also aca1221lc to aca500+. After initial power up I have normally 1mb chip, but sysinfo is showing I have 2mb Agnus..weird..when i do soft reboot...I see 2mb chip ram. Is it normal? is it possible to make Amiga see those 2MB even after initial power up, or this functionality is tied to soft reboot ? I don't have any issues afterwards, can play games, demos, using asm-one..... oh. os is 3.2.2.1

    thx

  • If you have a Rev.6a board, you surely don't have a 2MB Chipram Agnus. This is very likely a software recognition problem, or Sysinfo messing with system structures (=incompatibility with OS3.2). You might want to report this to the maintainer(s) of Sysinfo - I believe there's two branches that came out of personal source code releases for V3.24 (that's just off the top of my head, please investigate yourself).
