Every single product that leaves here must pass a single-unit-test, otherwise it won't get the warranty ID sticker.
Can you take a picture of the installed card? Do you have one of those "new" power supplies?
Did you try keyboard reset?
I tried keyboard reset, nothing ..
I don't have 'new"power supply, it's an old one
I'll put a picture in this thread later
thx
Hello,
Here's two pictures, When I turn on my amiga500, the led on the card stay blue and the amiga is stuck no boot and nothing on screen.
I put a picture without the card so you can see my A500 is working.
The card is well inserted (I inserted gently).
Thanks
Jehan
Is any of the components on the DisMo (near the blue LED) getting hot?
Also, you've deleted a picture where the DisMo shows "FF". This indicates that the CPU on the ACA500plus is running, and did not get a proper reset. From that stage where it's showing FF, you should try a keyboard reset.
Hello,
When I try to reset the Amiga I get from 2 sec a blue screen (Pic1) then no signal.
It shows FF
No components are getting hot
What components are inside the A500? This feels like it's not a stock machine.
Hello,
Here's some pictures from the board, I believe it's a stock/original version, nothing has changed inside
Right, that's stock, so an internal expansion is not the cause.
Do you have a spare power supply to try? What power supply is this?
On a closer look, the 86-pin connector of your Amiga is really dirty. Please clean it with a micro fibre cloth and pure alcohol (IPA should be available in any pharmacy).
Well I only got 1 power supply, the one who comes with the amiga, pictures taken in this message
This is the strongest A500 PSU available - and yours has been opened before. Hopefully to exchange the output capacitors :-)?
Please double-check what I added to my previous post: Clean the connector on the A500 side. This is a very likely cause for the failure you're observing.
Ok I'll try that and keep you posted. Thank you for your time
It is strange that my acual Action Replay MK2 is working on the A500 connector side. do you thing cleaning will help ?
Thanks
Action replay uses far fewer signals. Cleaning the connector is mentioned as one of the first trouble shooting steps in the manual. I wonder why you haven't tried it yet.
Ok I'll try that thanks
