  • Hello Jens,

Sorry to bother you for this, but I forgot to update P96 this year....

My order number is 69271 from January 2020 elegible till January 2021.

I am using Picasso Install Version 2.44 yet.

How can I find the update to version 3.02? From January 2021?

    Thank you

    Francisco

  • How can I find the update to version 3.02? From January 2021?

It would be a huge hassle for me to give you online access to the 2.4.6 update, as the file has been replaced at least twice in the mean time. Besides, the January update was from late January 2021, and your order was from January 3rd.

I suggest to wait a few days, then we'll publish a new update and it'll be worth buying another one-year update period.

  • Ok, but the update would be to the V 3.01 from December 2020, then?

Mine is the initial 2.4.4, after that there was 2.4.5, 2.4.6, 3.0 (October 2020) and 3.01 (December 2020).

    So I lost many updates.

    Thank you

But if it is very difficult as you say, to give me online access online, let it be, no problems at all. I am using it witn ZZ 9000 graphics card in Amiga 4000.

  • Oh! I forgot to mention.

I am using Picasso 96 RTG with my other Amigas too, which have the Amiga OS 3.2 installed and without graphics card.

Picasso 96 together with the "NATIVE" driver, as a replacement for the "FBLIT". As stated in Amiga OS 3.2 FAQ.

This way I have more CHIP MEM available to the system, as FBLIT does.

    see FAQ below:

  • There is really no easy way for me to give you access, as there is just no "update" possibility within this shop software. What I'm doing during an update is to exchange the Picasso96.lha file without the shop system knowing about this, so it's really only the latest version that the shop system can deliver.

Please understand that digging up older versions is too much work for me; I should be developing, not take care of your backups.

I am using Picasso 96 RTG with my other Amigas too,

Even more of a reason to buy a new license :-)

  • Hello,

Just updated Picasso 96 software to the new version 3.11, but having some problems with the new RTG.library Version 42.747 from 06/08/21

Amiga 4000D with ZZ9000 graphics card installed. Version 1.8 firmware. Version 1.8 zz9000 software installed.

Picasso 96 RTG software installed version 3.11 from ICOMP.

This is what I got with the new RTG.library version 42.747

  • We're already investigating reports that screen dragging on the ZZ9000 is not always working with the latest version. An internal Beta has already been sent to a German tester.

I can't really make out what the problem is on your photo - there's some dark-hard-to-see part at the top that may be your actual problem, but it might as well be a weakness of the camera used.

  • That would be a new bug - we've already found in other support threads that the ZZ9000 only works correctly with Buster -11, but not with Buster-9. What Buster is in your system?

  • I don't think that we need to look any further in the hardware dept - it's very likely that it's a software problem. We're on it.

  • We need to investigate where this error is caused - either in rtg lib, or on the OS side. There's always two sides of a communication.

  • The last reply was more than 365 days ago, this thread is most likely obsolete. It is recommended to create a new thread instead.
