    the firmware of the MK4 was included in some open-source drivers as "binary blob", so I wonder if there are any plans to release the source of the firmware also under an open-source type license? :)

    All right, but distributing the firmware along with the open source software is allowed? Maybe I missed something, but I have not yet found any license information for the firmware ...
