I have several possible monitors to test the video quality of the Chameleon.
What would be a good choice for a demo / games / PRG to quickly get an idea of the rendering - for example the fluidity of the scrolling?

I guess that would be your personal favourite - something that scrolls smoothly. If you want to see if your monitor can do 50Hz V-Synced output, you should probably go for a horizontal scrolling game, such as Uridium, Katakis or Delta.

Best are things that display several areas that scroll with different speeds - like the Giana Sisters "get ready" screen, or the "Starpaws" wait sceen.
