I have an admittedly relatively old (it’s ‘only’ 14 years old 
) A602 in my A600 project and want to attach a Subway to the included clockport but have no documentation of which way to attach the cable, and as we all know it’s a 50/50 it works or it catches fire situation, so I’d like some confirmation!

The Subway manual gives an indication in relation to a capacitor that's on one side of the clock port. YOU can safely follow this guide, as the capacitor is easily located on the A602.
