Hi Jens,
issue wasn’t resolved, and I ended up temporarily removing the BigRamPlus from the system. Running an older version of the ZZ9000 firmware is also an option, because it doesn’t include the 256 MB Z3 ram. Maybe a future firmware will resolve the issue, but then again: how much memory does one need in an Amiga

Did the board-shuffle. Turns out that the BigRamPlus only works if I remove the ZZ9000! I’ll report to MNT Research to investigate.

The motherboard jumpers are both set to ‘INT’ (as the manual describes: INT for 040@40, EXT for 040@25 and 060@50. Setting them to ‘EXT’ results in a black screen and a non-booting computer.
I have yet to try shuffling the boards - will report back.

Hi there,
I recently got hold of a Cyberstorm MK1 040@40 for my A4000d. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to work when a BigRamPlus is installed in the same system (no boot, not even an early boot menu). Removing the BigRamPlus results in a booting system. Replacing the Cyberstorm with an A3660 (and keeping the BigRamPlus) also works fine. Is there a known incompatibility between the Cyberstorm and BigRamPlus?
System details: Buster 11, ZZ9000 RTG, X-Surf 100 + RapidRoad and A4091 scsi controller. Motherboard is a rev B and has been recapped/repaired last year.

What’s the performance of one of these boards? Is it comparable to the motherboard fastram of the A4000?

Great, I’ll post it asap. Thanks for your support

Hi Jens,
I also have an ACA1233n-55 ("new"), which is exhibiting similar problems. As I have modified the card by installing an FPU & oscillator, I'm wondering if you're still willing the install the CPLD update & extra voltage regulator? The problems were already present before installing the FPU.
Thanks,
Alain

Hi Jens,
Looks awesome - keep up the good work!

Got mine as well, thanks for the notice!

Hi Jens,
The product page states that there’s a new version of the Indivision AGA in the works. Is there any known timeframe for this new version?
-
I also have the black one

Although the boot doesn’t end in a CLI window (cold profile boot with both mouse buttons and selecting ‘boot with no startup-sequence’ takes me back to the ACA menu), the rtc *does* appear.

Hi Jens,
Thanks for your response. Good thing that the network card prevents me from installing it the wrong way round - as both accelerators are in a housing, I would have definitely installed it incorrectly (it interferes with the housing when I try to install it correctly).
The rtc is only detected after a boot into Workbench. Merely resetting from the menu leaves it undetected.

Hi Jens,
I’m experiencing the same problem on a similar setup: A500 with ACE2, ACA500Plus, ACA1233n with RTC module plugged in. On cold boot, the RTC is not detected, on a reboot it’s detected as RTC 4 (global and profile both configured to use the RTC on the 1233). As I have an x-surf connected to the ACA500, I can’t use its clockport... Any idea?
Thanks!
