Thanks for the explanation, just wanted to know if it was possible to get more Fast Ram in case I was missing a setting etc. Nowadays even one or 2 pictures can be more than 9 MB's and I do like to mess with my pictures/images/effects etc. on my miggies

Running great with OS3.2 roms but I'm only seeing 9.4MB fast ram...I've ran the ACATool but still same amount? What's the max amount I can get with ACA500+ and 1221LC ?

@ McTrinsic
Thanks for the tip! I started a new profile and now I see my AUX_CF card and have my Fast Ram back too

Hi guys, so as per the wiki I updated to the latest menu (v0.141) ok but I don't see where it explains how to install a new rom file?
Browsing the web I saw that you need to enable 'aca.resource' but with the new menu when I go into Expert Options there's a line crossing out aca.resource and also AUX CF slot and without these active I can't transfer the rom to the ACA500+
update: never mind had to go into another screen other than Expert Mode where aca.resource wasn't crossed out and then OS3.2 booted up fine!
update2: so OS3.2 botting up great now BUT I can't see my AUX-Cf card and my fast ram is only 24312?
When I boot into expert mode again the AUC CF is crossed out??? Can anyone running OS3.2 let me know how to get rid of the cross outs so I can have access to my CF card and FastRam from the ACA500+

install of OS3.2 went well with no issues. I'm now getting constant reboot with software failure screen and click left button.
During the 3.2 install I used the A500 module disk and I assumed that with the built in 3.1 rom in the ACA500+ firmware would use Load Module to boot the new OS3.2 rom?Do I need to install the 3.2 rom into the ACA500+ firmware?

thanks for the update!

ah yes good ol assigns been a while I've used them so I have no other choice then to boot of a bootbale disk otherwise I'll just get a black screen on my Amiga monitor...so I moved the Indivision tool over to the bootable disk and need some help with my assign
Assign df0:Indivision boot-2:Devs/Indivision
tried other stuff too but nothing ...
-
ok thanks for the quick feedback Jens! I need to boot from my OS3.2 boot disk to see anything on my Amiga monitor and when I try to run the Indi tool I'm getting 'Failed to open Devs:Indivision'? So I tried from shell and same thing?
-
ah well I don't know what I did because I never saved anything but now I've got a black screen problem and only can boot up with my Amiga monitor....tried deleting indivision config files from envarc but still getting black screen...is there anyway to set my MK2cr to default settings from shell as I can only boot with my OS3.2 install disk at the moment

Been working fine every day since new and still working great in my Amiga 1200 Tower but yesterday for some reason all my game screens are shifted to the left?
My workbench screen isn't affected at all only game screens...I'm running the HD720 screen mode on my 1920x1090 monitor. Running OS3.2 roms with OS3.2.1.
Already tried reflashing but same issue.

thanks Jens ! got it working after mounting DH0 from my WB3.1 partition as you described

tried all kinds of settings but all i can get to is WB1.3 with no errors booting off my WB1.3 floppy. I want to be able to boot directly into WB1.3 from the CF card on my ACA500+.
Can someone that has this WB1.3 setup please give me a step by step how to
thanks

Hi & thanks for the response Jens! I luckily had a spare PSU to try out and that solved the problem for me and can now use my floppy no problem. I also can now see I can go higher than 14 Mhz too which is a nice bonus too !

Hi all, I've been happily using my ACA500+ in my A500 for quite a while with CF cards but today I had to use a good old floppy drive so inserted it as usual and got a DF0:???? icon...ok maybe bad disk so tried another and same thing...then I noticed there was no noise at all from the floppy..when I clicked on the DF0 icon on WB I get 'The icon(s) have no default tool".
strange...maybe the drive is messed up so I took out my ACA500+ and booted up into WB1.3 from floppy with no problems at all so it's definitely not a hardware problem....booted the ACA500+ back up again and DF0 is set up fine so have no idea what the issue is?

I normally have a short USB extension cord from rear plate of my A4000 to the front so i don't have to always clear stuff off my desk to see behind myA4000 when swapping USB stuff in and out. Tonight for some reason I had taken out the USB extension and was too lazy to move stuff to plug in a USB stick so I clumsily tried inserting it by feel and could here the metal to metal noise while scraping away until finally found the slot it connected BUT this time no familiar Poseidon pop up screen showed up??? tried turning off computer, rebooting still nothing....took off the case and dammit the light was off on my Rapid Road so i fear I've burned something out
I feel really stupid for being so lazy & I hope it can be fixed as I use it quite often
