It looks like the fat95 that is in flash memory of the ACA1234 is a locale to German. I'm noticing the "comment" field for files that are copied over from the CF card is in German, which is related to the fat95 version that gets installed. From the Aminet archive there are different locale versions that can be installed using the "install_fat95"
""
* Edit the "install_fat95" text file of your language to see if it matches
your needs. You can translate your own version, and/or add a code page
description (see example "russian/install_fat95").
* Doubleclick that "install_fat95" icon to activate your changes.

Is there a way to perhaps to have ACATool select the correct version (don't think there is currently a way) or maybe have option to use Crossdosfilesystem from OS3.2?

Jens -- would like to place an order for a few things and at same time buy this bracket. Sent email on the bracket sometime ago and want to follow-up on that. Will resend the email with "order ID 139518" in subject.

I see these are now in stock. One question: from the photos I don't see the US adapter with 3-prongs but only 2 prongs. Is this accurate picture where the power supply is not connected to the grounding wire (3rd prong)?

I wanted to check if possible to still use the A1200 clock port if ACA1234 one is populated. Obviously, you can't use 2 RTC modules but wanted to check if possible to use RTC module on 1 port and something else on the other. Also, does it matter whether the RTC module is on the ACA1234 or the A1200?

Thanks Jens. I sent email on Nov. 23rd as a reply to order ID 139518.

This is also the same symptom I was getting -- black screen on HDMI and no hardware detected when running the config. tool. I also have same rev. of the board.
Maybe can also try this software reset from Jens. It seems to alleviate issue and the hardware detect issue.
IndiMK3 cant save firmware/settings.
-
Do you have any spares of these that you could ship?
-
I'm assuming "board" means like the A1200 motherboard with the MK3?
-
I have a Indivision Mk3 and would like to mount the HDMI side to the A4000T case. I have made some room so that I can utilize one of the covers. The internal terminator block is cut from the port expansion board to make room. But I'm not sure how to mount.
Does anybody know of a mounting bracket that could be screwed to the MK3 HDMI PCB to something like below -- the below one was for A1200 on DVI? And then the angle bracket could screw into the case.

I am hitting same issue -- I had tried 2 HDMI monitors and 1 HDMI TV. With the MK3reset fix, it is working now. This is a A1200 from Amiga Tech. timeframe (NTSC USA version) with Apollo 1260 accelerator with 16MB of fast RAM. I have the original power supply and would like to try the CA-PSU once it becomes available again. If possible would be good to add this possible issue to the end of the printed instructions to alert newer users as this is something that I only found after digging through these forums.

I think there may be a few that could be using the Toaster -- seen some videos on YouTube. Also, I'm seen there is at least 1 other that is trying to use Toaster with the ZZ9000 (https://community.mnt.re/t/zz9…with-denise-adapter/626/7). I also have the ZZ9000 and can't get it to work with the Toaster.
I myself am not using it a lot but do like to use Lightwave and other Toaster programs once in awhile -- as with the Amiga in general it is hobby. I don't have the standalone version of Lightwave 5.x and so need to launch Toaster to get to it.

Thanks a lot. The one that I got was "BENFEI DVI to HDMI, Bidirectional DVI (DVI-D) to HDMI Male to Female Adapter with Gold-Plated Cord 2 Pack" from Amazon -- will have to try the MK2 config tool some.
Thanks - so it sounds like MK3 also works with the Video Toaster.
-
I have a MK2 that came with a DVI-I connector. I tried a DVI-I to HDMI external converter connected to Indivision's DVI-I but monitor did not detect any signal. I'm wondering if there is any way to get HDMI to work. Thanks in advance. MK2 working well with the Video Toaster's genlock.
I'm not clear if MK3 that has HDMI will work -- if I'm remembering correctly Toaster needs a CSYNC signal.

Meant to reply earlier in regards to FPU but I have a CSPPC/060 combo board.

Reposting what I posted on EAB here:
I tried ilbm.datatype 45.3 and picture.datatype 47.19 and this is working. It opens up native Amiga screen and I don't see the crash anymore.
If I go to the 3.1.4 version of both picture.datatype 46.13 and ilbm.datatype 45.3 then the behavior is different. It uses P96 screen instead of native amiga screen. Also, in this case I did not see crash.
So something to do with 47.6 ilbm.datatype in 3.2 I suppose or interaction with P96?
-
I narrowed it down a bit:
If Workbench screen is 32 colors, then when picture is loaded on its own screen, then no issue.
If Workbench screen is 256 , then see the issue. I haven't tried other color modes.
The best way to reproduce is to make sure a P96 driver is loaded in monitor drivers and boot into a 256 color wb screen and then load picture in multiview and switch full screen mode.
-
ilbm.datatype is 47.6 (9/5/21)
picture.datatype is 47.19 (12/15/22)
Picture is a 16 colors 320x400 and in DPaint it opens up a NTSC Low Res Laced screen. So not a HAM or HalfBrite or AGA etc...

I did notice the 3.3.3 install script didn't copy over a Cirrus chip driver -- not recalling at the moment if this was PicassoIV related or not. But I would check the LIBS: area to see if 2.1b has a Cirrus chip driver and if 3.3.3 didn't.

"DoggieBackground.lace" is a IFF picture that comes with one of the DPaint distributions. I can check the datatype version but I'm quite sure I'm using the OS3.2.2.1 version that comes with it.
