Here's the recent user manual (for beta 9q FW): http://wiki.icomp.de/w/images/0/03/Chameleon_usermanual.pdf
If you want to copy files between SD card and a real 1541, first you must switch to two-panel mode:
"To copy a file, switch to two panel mode (CBM+P) and press F5 (on any file)."

I think drive selection is active during floppy mounting process only if you enabled more than one drive previously in the settings menu. You can set also the function (disk change) of the third menu button in the settings menu.

Yes, minimig core supports 15kHz RGB out, you need a standard 'minimig VGA to SCART cable' to enjoy this. Schematics attached.
-
Basic Sega Master System controllers are safe AFAIK (these don't contain active electronic and pinout is the same as the TC docking station).
-
In theory you can, but it's not recommended to connect the Turbo Chameleon to a faulty C64, as it may harm your device, and void warranty...

-
Common GND is still a difference, as most Chameleon PSUs (tablet or phone chargers) usually don't have a grounded plug to 240V, but laptop, desktop and monitor PSUs do...

Actually the main benefit of 576i/288p signals is improved compatibility with older TVs/monitors which often have an RGB-compatible SCART input. 576p@50Hz was never VGA standard AFAIK. I assume robinsonb5 is right and the signal would be 288p instead of 576i. And yes, CSync is on VGA pin #13 (HSync), and pin #14 (VSync) goes to SCART pin #16 (RGB switch). The latter expects 1-3V (nominal 2,5V).
The minimig-VGA2SCART cable is "de facto" standard since more than a decade (schematic attached), and mine works perfectly with other cores and FPGAs since years without any issues. Mixing HSync and VSync shouldn't be so difficult as there are very simple schematics with only one logical IC, using some XOR gates. I built both of them to merge H and VSyncs to CSync in real world (not FPGA) to use my C128's RGBI out with standard SCART TV, both works perfecly (4070 and 7486 ICs, see attachments).

Thanks for your reply! I didn't think that's so complicated, I assumed that should be more trivial, as other cores already implemented this years ago, but I was obviously wrong.

Hi!
I tested the latest firmware (ß9k) with my TC64v1, and it improved the VGA compatibility with my Samsung LE40B650 TV significantly! Thank you for your effort. Some ghosting/shadowing are present at higher resolutions (screenshot attached), but overall image quality is far better than the original C64 over composite out.
As you (we) are near out of beta stage, it would be avesome if an 50i PAL mode would be added to the output options. Unfortunately my TV does not support 50Hz over VGA, but has a SCART input, which is useful if I want to run the cores on the native resolution of the original HW (576i). This option is present in the minimig core, as well as in case of most other cores available on V1 hardware (PC Engine, MSX, ZX Spectrum, Atari 800). I have a minimig VGA2SCART cable already,
Thanks in advance: Gábor!

Try another VGA cable, that may help...

Or you can simply overwrite an existing one...

I don't think that a ready-to-use solution exists for this situation... Docking Station has C64/VIC-20/A500 keyboard sockets, and TC64 has two PS/2 ports, but Keyrah "is a pure USB device, it will not work with USB-to-PS/2 adapters."
-
VGA->HDMI conversion means digitalizing, so it will add latency to the system...
-
I confirm that keyboard is not working in C64 mode neither.....
I´m using the same adaptor as the USB mouse? Should it work? Both are adaptors are green....maybe the violet color means different adaptor is needed?????
I use this one: https://www.amazon.es/gp/produ…tle_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks

Colour doesn't matter, I use a green and a black passive converter, both works fine with keyboard and mouse (the adapters are interchangeable), IF the device supports PS/2 protocol besides USB.

I own a V1, and hdf creating works flawless. Do you use WB2 or above? WB1.3 does not support HD...

I followed this detailed tutorial to create a working, minimig core compatible hdf file:

Did you enable disk drive emulation?
(Main menu->Options->Drive Settings->Emu Drive 1 Device ID->8)

We all thank you robinsonb5!
I wanted your new core to be available for people who don't have FB account
