Awesome news! After moving the Buddha to a different slot and Grabbing a fresh Install ADF from my CD, I was able to install 3.2 and onto my drive and all seems to work well so far. I appriciate your help, I never did get the DOM to work. I did the whole install without it. It may be a good option to offer the Buddha with or without the DOM. I am sure there are cost to the licencing on the DOM and without it would lower the cost. But thank you again for your help, I greatly appriciat it.

That sounds like an error that HDToolbox generates because the drive definitions file doesn't match any of the connected drives. You need to click on "Read Configuration" on unit 2 (if DOM is in the right port) or unit 0 if it's in the left port.
That is what I have been doing, Read Configuration" on unit 2 (if DOM is in the right port) or unit 0 if it's in the left port. The DOM still dosn't boot into or show anytype of menu. Is there any special thing that needs to happen to make a installer menu pop up?

Moved the Buddha to a different slot and still getting an error “ can not read from drive definitions”.
I even put it in another 2000 with the same results

Is this the screenshot you wanted?

See screen shot, when the DOM did nothing at start up I just tried to install my OS without it
-
See screenshots
-
I verified the DOM is in the “right” slot and J2 is closed as it should. I’m using kickstart 3.2.1. See screenshot of early startup

Pulled the accelerator out, cleaned the Zoro slots and even blaced the Buddha in a different slot. Same results, "Cannot read from drive definitions". And the DOM still doesn't work.
-
What is next? Could it be a bad unit?

I'm sorry, but my crystal ball didn't tell me that you're using OS3.2.1. Yes, the new version does support larger drives and will also display the sizes correctly. Further, if you have the OS installed already, you won't need the DOM. Stupid me was assuming that you wanted to install WB3.1 from the DOM.
...then check the cable, like I wrote in the previous post.
As I have said already, The DOM doesn't work so how would I install from it. I checked the cable and it is working as intended. I even switched cable. Same resullts, again the crystall ball comment is bad customer service. You should keep your snarky sarchazim home.

“The resistor of shame” is not blown. 21.9 ohms. It was never installed backwards. What’s next?
-
I thought workbench 3.2.1 supports larger drives? I’m using 32 gig CF cards on my 500 and 1200. If I measure the resistor and it’s still good then what? The controller was never connected backwards. How you see the picture is how it’s was connected.

It’s in an Amiga 2000, it sees a 6 gig HDD as a 132, even if I manually adjust the settings I get the same results. Also the DOM does nothing.
-
It’s seeing a 6 gig drive as a 134 gig drive
-
I just received my new Buddha and it’s not working as it should. The DOM doesn’t boot but I can see it in HDToolbox. It sees the HDD I have connected to it but not the correct size. I have a 6 gig HDD connected to it, but it sees it at a much larger size and says it can’t configure the drive.

Buddha IDE. What am I supposed to see with this DOM? Jumper and DOM in either connector 1 or 2 it just boots to the kickstart screen. Yet jumper and DOM in either connector 1 or 2 I can see the module in HDToolbox. Looks like it is about 28 mb +/- in size.
Anyone? Is the DOM supposed to boot to a menu? 17 hours later and no answer. The DOM can be seen in HDToolbox but it does nothing.
