Connected pins on RapidRoad

  • Although it doesn't look nice, it will work, as one of the two connected pins does not carry any signal. It did pass QC and has full warranty - if you consider it an "optical show stopper", feel free to send it back.

    I have another question though. Is there any way to tell if the following PSU is RapidRoad safe?

  • the PSU you've linked to is a known-bad unit from Poland. It is based on a MeanWell chassis. It is actually worse than the original PSUs, as it's about the same efficiency, but worse ripple voltage and no cable drop compensation. Avoid.
