Screws too short for use with any back plate

  • The standard back plate where such connectors are mounted in are between 0.75mm and 1mm thick. The screws in the DVI-I connector allow up to 1.5mm thickness for a back plate. That should be plenty. This may be different for plastic parts, especially if they are 3D-printed.
