Good day,
With the new product coming out will you publish updates to the core for both new and old chamaleon?
-
Yes, I am also curious about the new chameleon. Is their a hardware upgrade planned for parity?
-
I hope there will be more cores updates for Chameleon in future.

yes, of course. we build both cores from the same sourcecode, so all changes will appear in both, and updates will be published for both.

no, that wouldnt really be possible either. its not required either - the hardware is basically still the same, except some detail changes.

Is it compatible with the old Base-Station ???
AND: Will it fit into a "normal" cartridge case ???
cheers

It works with the old dockingstation. All the interfaces are the same. The case will need modification (just like with the old one)

Could you also upload a picture of the new V2 from different angles plus how it looks when inside the new case ? AND ...will it stick out much from the docking station as it seems like the width of the new V2 board is wider compared to V1. Am I correct ?
(Looking forward to receiving my V2 which is already ordered)

Pictures and a Wiki article of the differences is planned for "sometime this week". Yes, the new unit is a little wider than the old one.
-
Can you tell us differences between v1 and v2?

Hi -- could you post a picture of the V2 with its case taken from above when it is docked in the dockingstation ? I wonder if the PS2 connectors sticks out ?

Up-to-date pictures are in the user manual:

And of course on the V1 vs. V2 hardware differences page:

Yes, the connectors do stick out when the Docking Station is used. Haven't taken a picture of the final setup yet, as the insulation part of that "sticking out part" of the board has only been shipped this week, and we're in "emergency mode" here all week. I find it more important to serve pre-orders and keep promises that were made to customers.
