ACA500plus + Kickstart3.2 + HRTmon

    It seems that HRTmon does not want to work with kickstart 3.2 and later.
    Starts correctly and then any typed character is shown at video as a little rectangle..

    Any advice?

    It would seem not able to find the correct fonts.

    I've passed this along to the Hyperion AmigaOS team. They'll investigate if this is a problem of the Kickstart ROM, or a problem of HRTmon.

    I've got the same problem with kickstart 3.1. HRTmon is invoked as expected on pressing the button (NMI), v 2.36, green background, headline is there, all keys result in random numbers of rectangles - except for the HELP key *displays help and the ENTER key *repeats HRTmons header.


    Any advice would be appreciated.

    We're neither providing the Amiga Forever ROM, nor can we guarantee compatibility with it. It's a non-classic fork of the ROM which has little to no relevance to the preservation effort we're after with the ACA500plus.


    We've developed the ACA500plus to work in the configuration that we're shipping, that is, with the "original" Kickstart 3.1. If you choose to use a different ROM, we can't guarantee that all the patches we've applied will work. So please check if the problem persists when choosing the 3.1 ROM that is supplied with the accelerator.

    - noted - will avoid using that in the future. Nonetheless it does not work with the kickstart 3.1 from the ACA500plus either. Instead of rectangles it displays a different character resembling a small j with a dash beneath.


    However, it does work with the kickstart 1.3 of the ACA500plus.
