I've found that P96 3.6.0 doesn't work with Scalos 1.2b (the version for AmigaOS 3.1). When a WB icon is double clicked, the machine freeze up. Previous versions of P96 have been working. Ive tested on Amiga 2000 and Amiga 3000, with GBAP II++ and Spectrum 28/24 EGS. Maybe not many use Scalos anyway.

Previous versions of P96 have been working.
Please specify exactly with which version was the last one to work as you're expecting.

Sorry, I don't have that information any more. All previous versions were working.

Just an indication - how many of the previous versions? We certainly don't want to go back manually to replicate your case. That's too special of a software combination.

I purchased P96, 27.07.25 and downloaded, I'm not sure what version, but it worked with Scalos. Then I got an e-mail with version 3.6.0 just a few days later 31.07.25, this version don't work. Before this I used the old free version from Aminet (version 2.0) that works.

Tried it on emulation, could not see any problem. Blitting might have changed "under the hood", but not substantially, and definitely not on the API level, so it's hard to imagine what's going wrong with your installation. Can you run the usual triple MuForce, SegTracker & Sashimi to see if there is something fishy?

After more testing, it freezes up at once an icon is selected/single clicked, also when a window is sized, but not by moving. Menus and other stuff works. I'll check enforcer output, have to disable other mmu stuff and edit my startup first.

Since you have two installations, you might want to check what they have in common in terms of MMU stuff and other debug-tools that may interfere with normal software operation.
Anything is suspicious: Patches by Cosmos should be treated with extreme caution and removed by default, unless all other options have been explored. MCP should be switched off, as it interferes with pretty much everything. This is the stuff you're looking for to remove/fix.

P96 V3.6.1 will be released next week. It has updates to function with Radeon, RageXL and Voodo cards, and it fixes blitting of off-screen bitmaps with the VA2000. Not sure if this will change anything on this issue, so your prime goal should be to get your system patch-free first.
