  • I have installed (on the Amiga 1000 with rejuvenator) the indivision ecs v4 in the Paula adapter, and the up6 cable ( replacing the cia.) I get the standard power up screens and then your logo in the lower left corner (crystal clear) but I never get any other display. I have tried 3 different lcd monitors and they all display the logo perfectly, but no other video. Any helpful hints?

  • If you see the logo, then the monitor is not the issue. The core runs fine, and the output is accepted by your monitor(s). The problem is somewhere else - most likely in the Rejuvenator design, which I have always warned not to duplicate, but the crowd didn't want to listen (note that I'm assuming that you have one of the re-spins of Rejuvenator).

If you can provide a picture of the OSD, we might get more insight, as the OSD also contains debug information.

You wrote that you do have the space to install Indivision on the Denise socket. This isn't possible on a normal A1000, as Denise is too close to the power supply. If Denise is further away with the Rejuvenator, you can try installing without the A1000 adapter. There is no reason why it shouldn't work - it's purely a mechanical reason.

Still, the ill-fated clock concept of Rejuvenator (which also messes up the timing on the 86-pin expansion port) might mess up chip bus timing, so you are merely eliminating the A1000 adapter (and associated installation faults) as a possible source of problems.
