I would pay a kings ransom for an aca1000 with the extra chip ram! +1
-
Jens, I would love this. If chipram can be added for the A1000, you'll have something that's way more useful than a Vampire V2 (there won't be extra chipram in V2).
Is there any news on if the ACA1000 will be developed?
Steve

The question is not "if", but "when" - I'm extremely busy right now trying to work through the tar pit of chip shortage, hoping to get products out the door before customers don't believe that they will be back ever (like 68030 accelerators and A4000D flicker fixers). These are crazy times - I don't want to promise any dates, but my will to make an A1000 expansion won't change any time soon

Great to hear Jens
Thanks

Fantastic news, Jens!

The ACA500+ is super.
Something similar would be great for A1000.

Please, please let the miracle happen!

Pipe: Keyrah V3 (almost finished), ACA600 (second prototype PCB arrived, needs to be assembled). Note that the ACA600 contains a lot of things that I'll also use on the ACA1000.

My Amiga 1000 is ready

That’s great news Jens! Can’t wait for it!
Will it be also able to disable the external CPU to use the internal one (and possibly a PiStorm replacing it)?

PiStorm is worse than an emulator. And no, I won't attempt to support that as a "compatible accelerator". Keep anything non-68k out of the Amiga, and you'll be happier.

I’ll be more than happy with the chipram expansion the ACA1000 will provide and all the other features

Have been waiting for news like this for a long time. Excellent.!!!

Hi Jens - is there any word yet on the ACA1000? I'd even prepay my order.
Thanks

Sorry, no timeline. I am not taking any money if I can't name a specific delivery date - you may know this policy, and the general warning to look really close if something crowd-funding-like is offered. Too many people in the Amiga/Retro market have lost money to false promises. I will do everything I can to not associate such an experience with iComp.
