  • Will you be selling Rapidroad USB for Xsurf100 again. As i have two machines with a xsurf100 card in. One has the Clockport Usb version that went wrong on me. Works fine on the Xsurf.

So i would like to also have usb on the other machine.

  • Sigh. I just learned this news.

I should have purchased the adapter when I got the X-Surf!

Any possibility of a replacement controller chip in the future? It is encouraging to hear about other project designers being able to make changes to accommodate the chip shortages, even though this usually means an increase in cost.

  • Any possibility of a replacement controller chip in the future?

I doubt that any chip maker will go back to making a USB2.0 highspeed host controller chip with PIO interface. The latest and greatest thing is USB3.0 or even 3.1, with data rates that are so demanding that a PIO interface wouldn't make sense. If I were the product manager of that division, I'd have scrapped the chip as well.
