  • Sounds like a major oversight by the kernel maintainers. Isn't Linux launches after Kickstart has already gone through the Autoconfig list and added the memory to the freemem list? If it's not looking at the mem list, it should at least look at the flags, which clearly say "add to freemem list, memory auto-sized".
