  • Hi,

I have an ACA1221EC card and it was working fine until I took it out to move the jumper from MapROM to Unprotected setting in preparation for a clock speed licence.

Now the memory is showing up as limited to 344,176 chip and 456 fast.

I can't open anything up from my CF card and I'm running officially licenced 3.1 kickstart ROMs.

No matter what way I put the jumper (Unprotected, MapROM, not at all), I still have this limited amount of memory! I have even tried cleaning and reseating the card on the pins. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Richard

  • The ACA1221ec does not use any licenses - it always comes with full speed and full memory. Only the older ACA1221 (without ec or lc designation) uses licenses and can be upgraded to up to 63MBytes of usable fastmem.

The ACA1221ec has 16MBytes physical memory and can be clocked up to 42MHz without additional cost. Please read the documentation in our Wiki: http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/ACA1221ec
