  • flashed new firmware and board now reports it has bad address lines on system check, both LEDs on the board and the power light flash continuously.

    =O

  • Left this for a while as work got in the way, have tried reading with USB and there is no response from board at all now just a flashing power light. Have tried different power supply and USB cable but no luck.

  • If the LED blibks, then the MCU on the board is running, and communication should be possible. Does your computer prompt you to install a Prolific driver if you make the USB connection? This will even work if there is no power on the C64RMK2 board, because the communication chip is powered from USB.

This must have worked, before because you confirmed that you have flashed the new firmware in january. So at this point, you're looking for something funny in your PC setup.

  • Knowing that the communication between the MCU and the main CPLD of the C64RMK2 is two-step for the address, this looks like a single connection between the MCU and the CPLD has gone bad. Where on the planet are you?
