error d.5 on the gizmo, no booting and handling on both CF slots, the red LED lights when the CF card is inserted into the slots, the aca 500 plus works without
CF cards please help, what should I do to make CF work

Note that the Boot slot requires the card to be inserted before you power up, otherwise the card is not in TrueIDE mode.
For the Aux slot, you can insert he card later, and it will be automatically mounted if it is PC-formatted (FAT filesystem, not exFAT!).
The LEDs for the CF card slots are white on the ACA500plus. Further, the CF card slots are fully buffered, so they can't interfere with the CPU/Memory bus. If the card refuses to start or even crashes upon card insertion, you are most likely looking at a defective card, or a power supply problem.
