  • After a while of using my hdf files with the Minimig core, I end up getting checksum errors.

Clicking retry usually works, but not always.

I have no idea what to do about this. I have played with maxtransfer rate and different filesystems.

I am now smart enough to have a backup of the hdf to copy it back to the SD card when it gets corrupted.

    Any ideas why this happens?

    Thanks.

  • I'll be releasing an update fairly soon, so if it still happens once you've moved to that we'll investigate in more detail.

Are you hardfiles mounted using "Filesys" or "Disk img" mode? (I'm going to guess the latter, since you talk about adjusting maxtransfer.)

  • Thanks! I tried both. I set the maxtransfer within Uae.

Today I found out it is not corrupting the file (well at least not the last time). After the errors I did a binary test against my backup and they were identical.

I'll work some more and try to narrow down when it happens.
